GTA 6 channel thumbnails
Ten thumbnails per GTA video, made with the new v4 process (GPT Image through Magnific at high, your face photos, his review rules), adapted to the GTA channel. Each video tab has the finals first, then the research, then the brief behind every concept and every AI render.
Calls I made for the GTA channel (yours to overrule)
- GTA look instead of the bright gray-wall room. Your 10-27 note on the first GTA thumbnails was "try the neon one or try to match the GTA style", so every render uses a Vice City colour block and one official Rockstar still as the style reference.
- You are not in every thumbnail here. On the main channel you are always in it; for GTA each video has at least 4 with you (as a creator in front of the game world) and at least 3 with only the game. Tell me which way you want the channel to go.
- Jason, Lucia and official GTA 6 art are allowed (they are the topic). Never leaks, the fan-made map, fan art passed off as official, or a promise the video does not keep.
- Text: your main-channel rule. None unless it adds what the picture cannot (like GTA 5 / GTA 6 on a split), at most 3 words, your channel font (Roboto Black).
- Same quality settings as the main channel: GPT Image at high, two takes per idea, nothing upscaled until you pick.

Research
# Research summary: GTA 6 in 20 Minutes: Everything Confirmed
Sources: 98 same-topic uploads from 22 GTA channels (niche corpus, 10-25/26 stats; the live API pull hit the YouTube
quota after TGG), the 10-30 pool, GTA 6 sub-topic outliers and 8 teen-fit comps. Ratio = the lower of views/subs and
views/channel median.
What wins for this exact video:
- One striking in-game detail beats a face. The format's top outliers are small channels with a real gameplay frame
and one marked detail: Krown Fitz "CRAZY Details You Probably MISSED" 379K, 38.0x (red circle on a billboard), Big J
"4 Billion Details" 250K, 20.8x (circles and arrows), Misteri "100+ CONFIRMED Gameplay Features" 843K, 22.8x (Jason
plus a phone text). Faces are rare and small in these winners.
- The wanted HUD sells on its own: TGG's biggest feature video (3.8M) puts the stars plus the couple / hanger / person /
car icons in the thumbnail, the exact detail our video pays off last.
- Official key art with one claim is the other proven look: ZOROisLIVE 98.9x, Game guru 104x, No Fast Travel "Before You
Play" 10.2x. It is also the most crowded look.
- Explicit contrast wins in gaming (library rule: 21% vs 13% of outliers): era splits (Leonida Man 17.7x), size (No Fast
Travel 2X map 10.4x), Jelly PEACE / WAR 7.9x.
- The big channels' "Everything We Know" uploads (TGG 1.6M, T5G 1.0M, Hazard 351K) run at 0.3x to 0.7x of their own
median with text-heavy key art: the title alone does not carry it.
- Outside the niche, "real-life GTA" framing (Jelly "100 Days in REALISTIC GTA 5", 4.4M, 28x) and danger-before-the-
outcome comps (Michelle Khare Police Academy 9.5x) are the strongest borrowable comps.
What it means here: lead with one confirmed, weird, instantly readable detail (the hanger icon, a disc-less box, a gator
in a pool, fat vs ripped Jason), keep text off, and use Hafu as a reacting creator only where he adds a stake.

Brief per concept and every AI render
1. Hafu, a real gaming creator, holds an open GTA 6 PS5 game case toward the camera: the disc hub is empty, only a small folded paper code card sits in the clip; his face is real disbelief. Behind him a softly blurred neon Vice City street at dusk.
M3 Outlier object twistHafu in itgta ingame / hafu creatorno textface 0.75

M3 Outlier object twistHafu in itgta ingame / hafu creatorno textface 0.75
- First read: empty GTA 6 case
- Second read: his disbelief
- Why: A physical GTA 6 box with no disc is true, outrage-level money news every buyer cares about, and his disbelief sells it.
2. A real GTA 6 gameplay frame of a police chase seen over Jason's shoulder; the wanted meter in the upper right is blown up huge: two empty stars, four lit stars, and under them four red badges (a couple, a clothes hanger, a person, a car), with a thick red marker circle around the clothes-hanger badge.
M2 Outlier composition firstgame onlygta ingameno text

M2 Outlier composition firstgame onlygta ingameno text
- First read: six-star meter
- Second read: red circle on the hanger icon
- Why: The circled-detail comp is this format's top outlier (38x), and the hanger under the stars is the payoff the video ends on.
3. Inside a 24/7 store at night in GTA 6: Lucia in a red bandana mask empties the register into a black duffel and looks straight up at a hooded witness filming her on his phone from behind the snack shelf: she has been caught on camera.
M1 Title threadsgame onlygta ingameno text

M1 Title threadsgame onlygta ingameno text
- First read: robber at the register
- Second read: kid filming her
- Why: One kid with a phone tells the last fact (no witness, no cops) as a story before the click.
4. A sunny Vice City backyard pool in GTA 6: Lucia lounges on a pink flamingo float with sunglasses and a drink, eyes closed, while a huge alligator glides toward her just under the turquoise water behind, its eyes, snout and ridged back breaking the surface.
M3 Outlier object twistgame onlygta ingameno text

M3 Outlier object twistgame onlygta ingameno text
- First read: alligator behind her
- Second read: Lucia unaware on a float
- Why: Danger right before it hits plus the Florida gator meme, readable with zero context.
5. A two-state split of the same GTA 6 character: on the left Jason gone heavy, belly pushing out of his tank top, biting a big burger in a neon diner booth; on the right the same Jason ripped and sweaty, curling a heavy dumbbell at a sunny outdoor beach gym.

M3 Outlier object twistgame onlygta ingameno text
- First read: fat Jason vs ripped Jason
- Second read: burger vs dumbbell
- Why: Fat vs ripped is the San Andreas memory every GTA fan has, now a confirmed GTA 6 mechanic.
6. Inside a bright GTA 6 jewelry store: Lucia in a face wrap swings a claw hammer down onto a glass display case that bursts into shards, gold chains and diamond rings flying; through the front window a motorbike waits.
M4 Video momentgame onlygta ingameno text
M4 Video momentgame onlygta ingameno text
- First read: smashing the display case
- Second read: getaway bike waiting
- Why: The heist fantasy at the moment of impact: glass and gold flying, Lucia in frame.
7. Floor-level in a dim GTA 6 basement: a tan pit bull fills the left half, ears back, guilty eyes looking up; Jason towers over it on the right, finger pointed down at it, telling it off.
M4 Video momentgame onlygta ingametext: SCOLD

M4 Video momentgame onlygta ingametext: SCOLD
- First read: guilty pit bull
- Second read: Jason scolding it
- Text adds: the in-game button prompt (SCOLD plus the circle-button glyph, as on screen at EL 01:57): the picture shows a man telling off a dog, the prompt says GTA 6 gives you a button for it
- Why: A crime game with a button to scold a dog is weird, funny and true, and it is the cold open.
8. GTA 6 Vice City at sunset: Hafu rides in the open trunk of a speeding black sedan, laughing, phone raised beside his head as if live-streaming, neon Ocean Drive behind (the King of Trunk livestream stunt).

M3 Outlier object twistHafu in itgta ingame / hafu in_gameno textface 0.77
- First read: him in the open trunk
- Second read: filming it on his phone
- Why: The in-game livestream stunt done by the creator himself, with a cop about to ruin it.
9. Hafu, a real gaming creator, on the left third, jaw dropped, eyes on the camera, points at a Vice City police cruiser whose front is crushed around a light pole, sparks and glass in the air, lights still flashing, a small GTA wanted meter top right.

- First read: cop car wrapped around a pole
- Second read: his shocked reaction
- Why: A cop car folded around a pole is GTA chaos, and a creator reacting to it is the niche's standard comp.
10. GTA 6 at neon night on Vice Beach: Hafu, bent over the wet hood of a police cruiser, head up and shocked, eyes on the camera, is cuffed at the wrist behind his back by a Leonida cop who holds his shoulder; the light bar blazes red and blue. BUSTED top left.

- First read: him cuffed on a cop car
- Second read: Vice Beach at night
- Text adds: the GTA arrest-screen word: it tells a stranger this is an in-game arrest, which the picture alone cannot say (without it, it reads as a real-life arrest)
- Why: The creator himself busted in Vice City: cops that remember you, with the GTA arrest word.

3. Wanted-level spectacle is the biggest object outlier: San Andreas 6-star rampage 8.5M at 516x, "10 stars in GTA 5"
41.9M at 10.6x.
4. Matched splits are the comparison standard: "8 THINGS RDR1 Does Better Than RDR2" 451K at 49x. The library measured an
explicit contrast in 21% of gaming outliers vs 13% of normals.
5. Bodies travel: "How quickly can Arthur get fat in RDR2" 3.1M at 11.8x.
Applied: 4 of 10 finals carry an explicit contrast, 4 lean on police stakes, 4 put Hafu in front of the game world.
No final shows a GTA 6 limit the video does not state: "GTA 5 ONLY" on an RPG and the six-star chase were cut at
selection, and the car bail-out failed final QA for showing no limit.

- Text adds: which half is which game; the two hiding scenes look alike without them
- Why: The cop trick every player knows, shown working in GTA 5 and failing in GTA 6, is the video's promised payoff.
2. Two-state transformation of GTA 6 Jason, side by side in Vice City light: left, Jason ripped and sweaty on an outdoor beach gym bench with a heavy barbell; right, the same Jason clearly overweight, slumped on a couch surrounded by fast-food bags and pizza boxes, belly out, holding a burger. - Second read: gym vs fast food

3. GTA 6 screenshot look, low angle on a sunny Vice City causeway: Jason, sweaty in a white tank top, shoves his red convertible from behind with both hands, the car dead and coasting, while three police cars with flashing lights and a police helicopter close in right behind him. 4. GTA 6 screenshot look, Vice City motel parking lot in hard afternoon sun: Jason smashes the side window of a red muscle car with his elbow, glass bursting, and freezes as he spots a woman across the lot holding up her phone, filming him; a police car with lights on turns into the lot behind her.

- First read: woman filming the car thief

Creator thumbnail: Hafu, waist up in the left foreground, ducks and flinches toward the camera with real shock while behind him, in a bright GTA 6 Food Mart storefront, the clerk in a white short-sleeve shirt racks a pump shotgun and steps forward, barrel raised toward the ceiling, glaring at him.

6. Creator thumbnail: Hafu, waist up, holds an old black PS4 console up toward the camera with both hands, power light dead, his face in disbelief, in front of a vivid GTA 6 Vice City neon street at dusk with Jason and Lucia small in the background beside a red convertible.

- Why: Many viewers still own a PS4; this is their exact fear, stated in the video.
7. Creator thumbnail: Hafu, waist up at the right, lifts the trunk lid of a red GTA 6 convertible in a neon Vice City parking lot at night and stares in amazement; the trunk is packed with a rocket launcher, assault rifles, shotguns and ammo boxes, lit by the trunk light and pink neon.

8. Hafu in the centre, chest up, rips the thumbnail down the middle with both hands like torn paper and leans through the tear toward the camera with a stunned grin; left of the tear is GTA 5 Los Santos in warm daylight (Vinewood hills, a GTA 5 police cruiser), right of the tear is GTA 6 Vice City in neon pink and cyan with a police helicopter.

- Text adds: which side is which game; Los Santos and Vice City are not obvious to everyone
- Why: The exact-title format leaders centre a face between the two games; the tear adds an action to that proven layout.
9. Matched split, same framing both halves. Left GTA 5 Los Santos daylight: a man strolls down a sidewalk holding a rocket launcher, pedestrians walk past calmly looking at their phones. Right GTA 6 Vice City: Jason walks the same way holding a rifle, pedestrians scream and sprint away and a shop owner in the doorway raises a pistol at him.

- Second read: GTA 5 crowd ignoring the launcher
- Text adds: which half is which game; without labels both halves read as one game
- Why: Same armed walk, opposite crowd reaction: the cleanest explicit era contrast for the video's first two items.
10. Split frame, both halves from behind a car at street level. Left GTA 5: the circular minimap in the lower corner is covered in red enemy dots and blue police blips while the street looks empty. Right GTA 6: the minimap in the lower corner is completely empty, but a police cruiser with lights on is right behind the car in the mirror and a cop aims from the sidewalk.

# What wins for "How We Imagined GTA 6 vs What We Got" (research summary, 2026-11-04)
Sources: the uploads of 12 GTA channels that made this video or its cousins (topic_channels.py, 34 on topic), a 12-search
same-video pull and a 16-search topic/object pull (YouTube API quota ran out mid-pull, ratios rebuilt from cached
uploads, so treat the big ones as rough), the GTA niche corpus (133 same-topic titles) and the 10-30 pool.
1. **The matched split with two big labels is the format's winner.** Same angle, then vs now, one word per half:
Nick930 "E3 / RETAIL" 21-58x (Anthem 4.6M), Onespot "2011 TRAILER vs 2024 REALITY" 1.0M at 32x, Mr Snook
"TRAILER / FINAL" with a red X and green check 11.6x. The library rule agrees: an explicit contrast wins in gaming
(21% of outliers vs 13%).
2. **Receipts over the game work inside the GTA channels.** Trojan's "How the community reacted to" puts two old
comment cards next to the hero: 59x (RDR2, 1.1M), 50x (GTA V), 38x (GTA IV).
3. **The exact-title videos all use cover vs cover with an arrow and years** (dLorer 823K 10.8x, Glooby 781K 4.6x,
Glouton 6.2x). Proven, but it is the default everyone copies and the 10-30 test already tried it.
4. **Map scale and "bigger than we thought" pull** (No Fast Travel 11.9x and 8.4x for enterable buildings, Misteri 9.1x).
5. **A gaming creator's reaction over GTA** (Gamology 84-88x, 2.3M) and **then-and-now objects** (BBC "1989 thought
houses would look like this" 76x, a time capsule 13.8M views) are the strongest twists from outside the niche.
6. **Realism is the gate in this format:** its breakout (Glooby) got "AI thumbnail" as the top comment (392 likes).
So the 10: four matched splits (fan trailer vs real, 80s leak hero vs Jason and Lucia, presenter split, fake Rio vs
Vice City), two physical then-vs-now objects (old photo held up, fan case vs real case), a fan poster ripped to reveal
the real art, the old-TV vs new-TV reaction, the waiting skeleton and the real Vice City sign in Miami.

Brief per concept and every AI render
1. One camera angle split down the middle: on the left, a frame from a 2019 community concept trailer for GTA 6 built in the old GTA 5 engine with mods (a pink 80s wedge sports car on a plain night street, flat light, low detail); on the right, the same angle in the official GTA 6 (Jason and Lucia in a classic red muscle car on a wet neon Ocean Drive, photoreal).
M2 Outlier composition firstgame onlygtatext: FAN / REAL

M2 Outlier composition firstgame onlygtatext: FAN / REAL
- First read: same street, old concept vs official game
- Second read: the label on each half
- Text adds: Says which half is the 2019 fan trailer and which is the actual game; without it the halves only read as old vs new graphics, not imagined vs got.
- Why: The niche's proven matched split (E3 vs retail, 32-58x) applied to the 2019 fan trailer vs the real game, the most direct read of the title.
2. Hard vertical split at a Vice City waterfront at sunset. Left: the GTA 6 hero the 2019 leak promised, a 1980s drug lord in a white suit, open pink shirt and gold chain, shown as an amateur painting. Right, same angle: Jason and Lucia in present-day clothes, official GTA 6 look, sharp and vivid. Both sides face the camera.

- First read: 80s drug lord vs Jason and Lucia
- Second read: the label on each half
- Text adds: Says the painted 80s hero is the fans' idea and the right half is the actual game; GTA's own official art is painted too, so without it the left half could pass for Rockstar key art.
- Why: Same split format with a stronger story: the fake leak promised an 80s drug lord, the real game is Jason and Lucia.
3. A dim gaming room: a cobweb-covered human skeleton sits slumped in a gaming chair, still gripping a controller, facing a big TV that finally shows GTA 6 (Jason and Lucia fleeing police in sunny Vice City). Hafu stands behind the chair, waist-up, laughing in disbelief, one hand on the skeleton's shoulder, eyes on the camera.

M1 Title threadsHafu in itgtano textface 0.76
- First read: skeleton waiting for GTA 6
- Second read: GTA 6 finally on the TV, him laughing
- Why: The waiting-for-GTA-6 skeleton is the biggest joke family in the comments, and the faded fan poster on the wall keeps the imagined angle.
4. Hafu stands in the centre, waist-up, hands open toward each side, presenting two worlds. Left: how fans pictured GTA 6 years ago, a faded, low-detail Vice City street at dusk (old-engine look, flat light). Right: the official GTA 6 Vice City, photoreal neon street with Jason and Lucia by a red muscle car. He looks at the right side with amazed disbelief.

- Second read: his amazed look at the right side
- Text adds: Says the left world is how fans pictured GTA 6 years ago and the right one is the game Rockstar made; without it the left half reads as just an old GTA.
- Why: A creator presenter split (expectation vs reality layouts win up to 219x) puts Hafu between the fans' version and the real one.
5. First-person view in GTA 6: a hand holds up a faded, creased printed photo of how fans pictured GTA 6 years ago (an old fan render of a pink 80s car on a plain Vice City street, flat light) in front of the exact same street in the official game, now photoreal with murals, palm trees, traffic and people. The street lines up across the photo edge.

M3 Outlier object twistgame onlygtatext: IMAGINED
- First read: old photo held up to the street
- Second read: how much more the game has
- Text adds: Says the old photo is the fans' picture of GTA 6, not an old official GTA; final QA read the blocky photo as a past GTA game without it.
- Why: The then-and-now photo trend: a primitive old picture held up against the living real street shows the gap in one look.
6. One real 2020 YouTube comment card, "Imagine if every single building had an interactive interior." with its 2.9K likes, sits big in the upper left (the real capture, added in post). Under and behind it, the GTA 6 answer: Jason pushes open the glass door of a pastel Ocean Drive hotel at night, revealing a huge, lit, busy lobby full of people.

- First read: Jason opening a door into a huge lobby
- Second read: the old fan comment asking for it
- Why: SWAP: replaces m1_3 (face under the floor on all three takes, its old TV read as 2002 Vice City); m2_2 was the best-ranked gate-passing idea not in the 10 (S2 viewer rank 2): the real 2020 wish next to Jason walking into one of the game's real interiors.
7. Hafu, waist-up, holds two game discs toward the camera. Left hand: a homemade burned DVD in a cracked clear case with "GTA 6" scrawled on the disc in black marker. Right hand: the official GTA VI case with the Rockstar cover art, crisp and glossy. He looks at the official one with a grin.

- Second read: his grin at the official one
- Why: The exact-title videos all compare covers (dLorer 10.8x); holding a faded fan case next to the real case adds a person and an action.
8. Two panels. Left: the GTA 6 location the 2019 leak promised, a fictional Rio: a giant statue on a green mountain above favelas and a bay, in an older fan-render look. Right: Vice City as Rockstar made it, the photoreal GTA 6 skyline at sunset over the bay with a speedboat.

- Second read: which one is in the game
- Text adds: Says the Rio half is the 2019 leak PC Gamer called made up and the Vice City half is the game Rockstar made; the image alone shows two cities, not which one was the lie.
- Why: The leak promised Rio, the game is Vice City: a verdict split (Mr Snook 11.6x) with a minimap so it reads as GTA.
9. A big printed fan-made GTA 6 poster (painted 80s drug lord in a white suit, pink car, faded colours) is being torn diagonally by Hafu's hand; through the rip the official GTA 6 key art shows underneath (Jason and Lucia, vivid Vice City sunset). 10. Night aerial over Miami: the giant pink neon "Vice City" script sign glowing on the roof of the basketball arena, the bay and city lights behind. Hafu stands on a taller rooftop in the foreground, waist-up, pointing back at the sign, mouth open in disbelief, lit pink by the neon.
